Ronda Rousey’s dominant fight against Bethe Correia on Aug. 1 helped catapult her to even greater popularity, and with a bevy of new fans, the UFC women’s bantamweight champion has received some fantastic illustrations imagining her as a superhero:

After a recent Reddit Ask Me Anything session in which Rousey said she’d like to play Captain Marvel in a superhero movie, some of her fans came through and provided illustrations of her as Ms. Marvel/Captain Marvel.

On Friday, Straight Outta Compton memes took over the sports world. Invicta featherweight champ Cris “Cyborg” Justino decided to use the viral sensation to jab rival Ronda Rousey, the UFC women’s bantamweight title-holder.

Here’s what Cyborg wrote alongside the meme:

Ronda if you’re busy in Dec, how about April? Then we can make sure everyone knows we are BOTH clean by doing Olympic testing leading up to the fight.

Justino and Rousey have traded words recently, and the latter ramped it up a notch after her 34-second victory at UFC 190 on August 1.

“I’m prepared to deal with anything. That’s why I’m the champ,” Rousey said on the broadcast after knocking out Bethe Correia. “I fight in the UFC 135-pound division. [Cyborg] can fight at 145 pumped full of steroids and she can make weight just like everybody else without them.”

In 2011, Cyborg tested positive for an anabolic steroid and was suspended from fighting for a year. She’s since stated she is clean and is extremely eager to step into the Octagon with the undefeated Rousey.

“This fight has to happen,” Cyborg said on SportsCenter last Wednesday, (h/t SB Nation). “If the UFC thinks I don’t deserve this fight, don’t do it for me. Do it for all the fans.”

Despite the 10-pound weight difference and Rousey’s concerns with Justino’s history, perhaps Cyborg’s latest jab will anger the UFC’s biggest star enough to consider to a fight.

As we saw with Correia, though, it’s not always wise to poke the bear.

Ronda Rousey ’30 for 30′ Parody Perfectly Shows How Bethe Correia Messed Up

What if I told you Bethe Correia messed up?

What if I told you she signed her very own death warrant the moment she made a dumb suicide remark to Ronda Rousey?

What if I told you this fight was over months ago, long before Ronda Rousey unmoored Correia‘s brain from its faculties 34 seconds into the first round of their main event showdown at UFC 190 on Saturday night?

You would believe me, because pissing off Rousey has been proved to be a zero-sum game. There’s enough fodder and cold, historical evidence out there to make an ESPN 30 For 30 about the perils that come with poking the UFC’s scariest bear.

With this in mind, The Big Lead’s Rob Perez crafted an excellent parody of the ESPN documentary series, previewing what truly could—and should—be an actual full-length project showcasing the UFC’s most dangerous game:

I Should Not Have Pissed Off Ronda Rousey is almost a dead lock for an Emmy. It is a tale of tragedy, loss and the human spirit being beaten into the downward-facing dog.

We can all learn from it and grow stronger, and maybe—just maybe—avoid getting beaten into the Earth’s mantle by Ronda Rousey. It’s a long shot, but we have to try.

Dan is on Twitter. What if he told you that Correia is still in the ring, drooling onto an ad for Straight Outta Compton?

Bethe Correia Tries to Psyche Out Ronda Rousey with Staredown at Weigh-In

Ronda Rousey is the most dangerous women’s MMA fighter on the planet. It took her a combined two minutes and 34 seconds to finish her last four opponents. The most recent two finishes came in 16 seconds or fewer each.

She’s an animal, and everyone knows it. The undefeated (11-0) bantamweight faces an undefeated opponent on Saturday in Brazilian “Pitbull” Bethe Correia (9-0).

Correia knows how heavily Rousey is favored. Her pulling off the upset might even be the biggest upset in UFC history.

After both fighters made weight, Correia decided to test an area of Rousey that could be weakened—her psyche. She screamed and barked directly in Rousey’s face.

Rousey didn’t blink.

Conor McGregor Says He’s Looking to Purchase a Pet Tiger

Continuing the rich tradition of strong men purchasing exotic animals that will eventually lead them to financial ruin, Conor McGregor has entered the market for a pet tiger.

The new UFC featherweight interim champion spoke about his wish to own a tiger during an interview with CNN’s Rachel Nichols (h/t Joe.co.uk).

Interspersed with his admiration for non-weightlifting gorillas, McGregor revealed his intentions to purchase a large cat.

“I think a tiger. I’d like a nice tiger, a good-colored tiger,” McGregor said.

“Like Mike Tyson?” Nichols asked.

“Like Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson had a white one,” McGregor said. “I would like an orange and black one.”

McGregor went on to tackle U.S. politics, saying Donald Trump has taken a cue from him in stirring the pot for press.

As for all that tiger business—please, no one purchase a tiger.

Having just come into $500,000 thanks to his second-round knockout of Chad Mendes at UFC 189, McGregor is feeling rightfully flush with cash.

Tigers, however, are ergonomically designed black holes for fist-earned money. Fighters have poured breathtaking amounts of money into these animals over the years, and as Tyson proved, it never comes back. Just feeding one of these animals comes with an annual price tag of $60,000, not to mention upkeep, caging, medical bills and the inevitable court costs when it jumps the wall and eats a landscaper.

Not worth it, guys.

Dan is on Twitter. Just get a pug. They’re practically the same thing.

You have to give the kid credit; he said it to CM Punk’s face.

As Phil Brooks, formerly known as CM Punk, took questions from fans during a Q&A session in Chicago on Friday, one man wanted to know why he himself couldn’t fight Brooks. Implied in the question was the notion that Brooks, formerly of WWE, is not a true MMA fighter, so any Joe Schmo is worthy of the same opportunity.

Brooks was not about to back down from this one. The UFC fighter (his first UFC fight is expected to come in late 2015) pointed out that he is on the stage, which is more than the fan could say.

He then kindly told the man to “get the f–k out.”
