Contrary to multiple reports the last two days, former UFC welterweight Paul “Semtex” Daley has not signed with Bellator Fighting Championships.

A Bellator source confirmed Saturday to MMA Fighting that the promotion had not, in fact, inked the British fighter to a contract, refuting a story first reported at bjpenn.com citing undisclosed sources.

“Paul Daley is not under contract with Bellator,” the source told MMA Fighting. Per the promotion’s policy, no further comment could be given since Daley is not one of the company’s fighters. There is no word whether or not Daley is in talks with Bellator to join the promotion following his fight against Daniel Acacio for Impact FC in Sydney on July 18.

John Kolosci hoped his latest victory would propel him back to another shot with a major promotion, and it appears that it has.

Kolosci, a veteran of Season 6 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” told MMA Fighting on Monday he has signed a one-fight deal with Bellator and will face unbeaten Kenny Robertson on the promotion’s Aug. 19 card at the Chicago Theatre.

Kolosci (14-6) is coming off the biggest win of his career, a submission of nine-fight UFC veteran Luigi Fioravanti in just 42 seconds. He delivered a strong right that floored Fioravanti early in their main-event welterweight fight at the Hoosier Fight Club 4 show in Gary, Ind., 10 days ago. He then went to the ground, took Fioravanti’s back and locked in a rear-naked choke to end the fight.

Thursdays are like the red-headed stepchild of the work week.

Mondays are a write-off. Everyone says they hate them, yet most of us can’t wait to get to work on Monday to tell everyone what we did or to talk about the fights that happened on the weekend. I guess you can say they’re like Josh Koscheck.

Tuesdays are kind of like Matt Wiman. We can take them or leave them, they put in decent performances, but nobody really looks forward to them.

Wednesday is "Hump Day" — you know, middle of the road not quite Monday, not quite Saturday, but a hell of a lot of fun — kind of like Joe Stevenson.

Fridays are gimmes. Who ever really works hard on "the third day of the weekend"? They’re like Fedor. You know they’re going to be full of win, but you don’t ever really think about it because nothing ever changes.

But what does Thursday have going for it?  Not much.

So in honor of the Jason Thacker of the work week, here is something to help you make it through to Fedor-day.

More vids after the jump.

Heavyweight standout Dave "Pee Wee" Herman spoke to ProMMANow recently and discussed his contract dispute with Bellator and legal arbitration he has been involved in with the organization.

"Well. I don’t really know what to say; I just have court. They were pretty much in breach of contract and I followed the contract and let ’em know and they were just like ‘no’. It reminds me of the time I tried to break up with my girlfriend. We’re dating and I’m like, ‘Pfft…This relationship just isn’t working; we’re done.’ She was like, ‘We’re not done. We’re still going out.’ I was like, ‘Man, what to I say to that? I don’t know.’"

After eight shows and a whole lot of colorful prose from ReX13, Bellator’s second season is entering its climactic Finals stage tomorrow night at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Headlining Bellator 21 will be the lightweight final between grappling ace Toby Imada — who submitted James Krause and Carey Vanier (both via second-round armbar) to get to the end of the bracket — and Pat Curran, who earned his spot in the finals by knocking out Mike Ricci and scoring an upset decision over Roger Huerta. The winner of the fight will face Bellator lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez later this year.

Toby Imada, is all around good, but probably less good in the standup. Well known for his reverse triangle choke on Jorge Masvidal, a fight he was losing and was the underdog in.

In this matchup I like the heavy handed Pat Curran to cause enough problems for Imada as well as utilize the wrestling to keep Imada off kilter the entire fight.

Pat Curran is an underdog in this fight @ +125
