Highlights! Former UFC Heavyweight Gets Violently KO’d Through The Ropes

Former UFC heavyweight Maurice Greene suffered a brutal knockout loss earlier tonight (Sat., Mar. 22, 2025) at Dirty Boxing Championship 1 LIVE and FREE on Kick and YouTube from inside The Hangar at Regatta Harbour in Miami, Fla., after getting punched through the ropes by PFL and Bellator MMA veteran Rakim Cleveland.

Greene, who was last seen choking out Chase Sherman in Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA back in November, had the edge with his UFC experience heading into Saturday night. However, Cleveland has over 40 professional fights and has seen a lot of different competition over the course of 15 years as a pro fighter. In a heavyweight fight with Dirty Boxing rules, anything can happen.

Unfortunately for Greene, Cleveland only needed 45 seconds to prove he was the better heavyweight. Cleveland caught Green with a barrage of elbows and punches along the ropes. Green was forced down to a knee which allowed Cleveland to land a brutal right hand that knocked Greene back into the ropes. Cleveland kept punching as Greene kept sliding further out of the ring. The former UFC heavyweight was eventually put out. It was a pretty wild finish.
