Former UFC heavyweight champion and all-around MMA legend, Andrei Arlovski, captured his first finish in 10 years earlier tonight (Sat., Mar. 22, 2025) at Dirty Boxing Championship 1 LIVE and FREE on Kick and YouTube from inside The Hangar at Regatta Harbour in Miami, Fla., stopping Terrance Hodges with a second-round TKO (doctor’s stoppage).
Even at 46 years of age Arlovski is still chugging along and willing to put his body on the line to compete in combat sports. Dirty Boxing Championship is a different platform than what the former UFC heavyweight champion is used to, but it was a chance for Arlovski to start fresh. After all, his last finish as a pro came against Travis Browne all the way back at UFC 187 in May 2015.
Fortunately for Arlovski and hardcore fans still following “Pit Bull’s” career, he pulled through with a barrage of strikes to begin the second round. Arlovski followed that up with two slicing elbows that immediately cut Hodges. Blood began to cover Hodges’ face as Arlovski hit him with a stiff right. Hodges complained about the cut and the referee called a timeout for the ringside doctor to take a look. After further review, the cut was too bad for Hodges to continue and Arlovski walked away with the TKO win.
