
Former UFC 185-pound title challenger Jared Cannonier will defend his spot in the division Top 10 when he collides with bone-crushing Brazilian bruiser Gregory Rodrigues in the upcoming UFC Vegas 102 middleweight main event, locked and loaded for Sat., Feb. 15, 2025 on ESPN+ from inside the promotion’s APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Now they have an official poster.
Cannonier (17-8) is looking to rebound from the first two-fight losing streak of his middleweight run. “Tha Killa Gorilla” was finished by Nassourdine Imavov at UFC Kentucky then went on to drop a unanimous decision to Caio Borralho at UFC Vegas 96.
UFC Vegas 102 marks Cannonier’s sixth straight main event.
Rodrigues (16-5) is riding a three-fight win streak, which includes his ferocious knockout wins over Denis Tiuliulin and Brad Tavares. “Robocop” was last seen capturing a unanimous decision victory over Christian Leroy Duncan at UFC 304 last summer in Manchester.
